Program
The course will discuss a few basic concepts of quantum thermodynamics (work statistics, fluctuation theorems, etc) using quantum impurity problems as basic examples. Through the solution of excercises of increasing complication the student will learn also various useful techniques for condensed matter physics, such as squeezed state, the Holstein Primakoff transformation and bosonization.
