Research interests
My research focuses on strongly correlated electron systems, where I currently use the ghost Gutzwiller approximation to explore the interplay between Mott physics and topology.
I also work with advanced diagrammatic techniques within the Matsubara formalism. Specifically, I rely on the 2PI Kadanoff-Baym effective action, formulated via the Luttinger-Ward functional and its skeleton expansion, to investigate violations of Luttinger's theorem, develop generalizations of Landau Fermi-liquid theory and study electronic quantum geometry in strongly correlated systems.
My work builds on a broad background in theoretical physics, with core expertise in functional and path-integral methods in quantum field theory, including its nonperturbative and topological aspects. My studies have also covered non-Abelian gauge theories, renormalization group methods, statistical field theory, the Keldysh formalism, fluid dynamics, general relativity and primordial cosmology.
