Program

This course is meant to provide the students with a real-life experience in the solution of a strongly correlated electron system/material.

We will choose a model and we will perform together some of the steps we try to solve the model. A possibility will be to consider the celebrated Hubbard model on an interesting lattice and carry out a cascade of increasingly accurate methods to solve it. Another will be to consider a more involved model, sacrificing accuracy to explore a less conventional path.
