My main area of interest lies in the physics of strongly correlated electronic systems. Making use of both theoretical and numerical approaches, my recent research deals with the following topics:
optical enhancement of superconductivity in alkali-doped fullerenes at high temperature;
transport properties of junctions of strongly interacting one-dimensional quantum wires, including hybrid systems involving normal wires and s-wave, or topological, superconductors;
- emergence and robustness of zero-energy Majorana modes in disordered finite-length p-wave
one-dimensional superconducting rings.
